Best Dressed of the Award Season

Awards season is over for another year *sigh*. To mark the end to the glorious flurry of couture, I've looked back over my favourite looks and chosen my absolute gems from the past few weeks. I hope you enjoy and be sure to let me know which your favourites are below.

Soph x
Diane Kruger, Golden Globes
The Golden Globes was the first event to kick off the years Awards and provided several of my favourite looks this season. Diane Kruger looked incredible in this classic silver gem. Her hair was timeless, her makeup perfect and she stunned in Emilia Wickstead. In short, flawless.

Ellie Kemper, Golden Globes
Greer Grammer, Golden Globes
Dakota Johnson, Golden Globes
Dakota Johnson absolutely stunned in this couture Chanel gown, and I think it may be my favourite dress of all. This photo has been my background on my iPad for months and I still lust over it. Dakota completely nailed the look.

Sarah Hyland, SAG Awards
The Screen Actors Guild Awards came next, seeing the stars from television have their turn of gracing the red carpet alongside our favourite A-listers. I loved this look from Sarah Hyland, but to be frank, I always do.

Maisie Williams, SAG Awards
I was crazy excited to see Maisie on the red carpet and, honestly, was utterly floored when I saw her in this dress. I normally like to see a full gown on the red carpet, but there's something about this that just looked absolutely perfect for the SAG's. Maisie's struggled in the past when dressing for events, but I think this marks the end of the somewhat-awkward teenage stage and begins the transition into her being a beautiful, elegant young woman.

Emmy Rossum, SAG Awards
Keira Knightley, BAFTA's

One of the most exciting parts of this years Awards Season is seeing how the glowing Mrs Knightley dresses her perfect bump. This dress seems to somehow hide the fact she is pregnant, looking stunningly sophisticated and polished.

Laura Haddock, BAFTA's
This was one of my favourite moments of the season. I've been in love with Laura Haddock for far too long now. It was wickedly exciting to see her on the red carpet at all, so when she had this fairytale princess moment I almost fainted with glee.

Rosamund Pike, Oscars
Rosamund Pike has been probably the most controversially dressed star of the past few weeks. She had billowed back and forth between the worst and best dressed lists to the point where I frankly hadn't a clue what was going on with her fashion department. And then, this. Rosamund is the epitome of grace, oozing sex appeal, femininity and glamour in this red lace holy grail.

Sienna Miller, Oscars
Keira Knightley, Oscars

Hello another perfect fairytale princess moment.

Dakota Johnson, Oscars
Reese Witherspoon, Oscars
