Benefit's Roller Lash Mascara

So today's post is somewhat belated. Like every other beauty blogger, I rushed out to pick up the March edition of Elle when it was released. Not only was my absolute darling Ms. Knightley on the cover, but Benefit had launched their highly speculated Roller Lash mascara in a free sample size. The reason I didn't use it straight away is because I had recently been gifted Soap and Glory's Thick and Fast mascara (see here), and so I sort of forgot I had it. Now I've had the chance to have a play with it, and I thought, given that the full size is now available in stores, that I would share my views.

The wand is slightly curved and the bristles are plastic (which may instantly be of issue to some). I found the mascara really lengthening. It really defines individual lashes as well.
The problem I have with it is that it made my lashes quite straight. I'm quite lucky and have naturally curved lashes, but this mascara sort of uncurves them and makes them as photoed. Some people may like this look, however I prefer more of a curl. But this is the only problem I have.

Benefit are well know for their 'They're Real' Mascara and if I'm honest I think I prefer that mascara to this one, Plus, if I'm being frank, you can get a lot of mascaras in the 'drug store' for cheaper that do a better job. In short, its not my favourite mascara ever, but it does the job well enough.

You can see the before and after photo's above, so you can judge for yourselves. Let me know you're thoughts in the comments below.

By the way, my mole flips because one photo was on my camera and the other on my phone!
