The awards hence provide a wide-array of red carpet style, and I've put together an edit of the best dressed for you to flick through. Vogue Festival 2016

A couple of weeks ago I spent the day at the Vogue Festival, which was even more fabulously glamorous than usual as the publication is celebrating its 100th year. Side note: can we talk about that? 100 years?! Which also means its first issue launched in the middle of the first world war? Anyway. Despite getting off to an appalling start (money problems, ticket problems, sleep deprivations problems...basically all of the problems), I had the most fun day. I watched trend talks and chatted to the Vogue writers and editors (both Alexandra Schulman and Grace Coddington were in attendance) before heading over to the Royal Geographical Society to watch a talk with Kim Kardashian West and Charlotte Tilbury. Unfortunately I wasn't quick enough to get my camera out in time when Kim and Kanye arrived as we were queuing to get in and casually waved as they passed. Other than that, I had my nails done with the celebratory V, had makeup sessions with teams from Bobbi Brown and Tom Ford and let Kerastase give me a Khaleesi inspired braid. At the shop I grabbed a couple of goodies from Bobbi Brown and a managed to get my hands on a gorgeous limited edition Dolce & Gabbana tote which I've yet to take out of the house for fear of damaging it.
I hope you enjoyed a few snaps I grabbed on the day, and check out the vlog I filmed below to see around the festival and clips from Kim & Charlotte's talk.

Much love, Sophie x
